You have to fill through where the speedo gear/speed sensor is installed. I believe it is a 10 mm bolt holding the clamp on. No dipstick. See owner manual under maintenance section

There is a fill/Level plug RHSide towards the top of the box. But to fill correctly you need to monitor the gearbox fluid temperature to achieve a small stream overflowing at about 40 degrees centigrade measured at the fill point. Unless you have a leak or strong signs of trans fluid around your g/box I would suggest that the box does not need a ''top up''
If your millage is approaching 80K miles I would make plans to change the fluid.

How to add transmission fluid on Camry 2008 manual transmission

Very long funnel and lots of patience. Go through ALL GEARS and add half pint at a time. Go through gears each time you add fluid. Usually you fill right through the hole the dipstick comes out of.

Replacing transmission fluid in standard

The manual transmission in the Ford Escort uses transmission fluid, it is checked and filled in the same hole. That hole is where the speedometer cable is hooked up to the transmission. Remove the speedometer cable, set aside, then remove the locking bolt that holds the speedometer drive unit in place. Pull up on the drive unit and it will come out, look on the side of the drive unit and you will see the level indicator line for full and add. Fill as needed and reinstall the drive unit and cable. Hope this helps, let me know.

Where do you fill the automatic transmission?

If you have a tranny dipstick, then you would need a long tranny type funnel and fill there.
If you do not have a dip stick, then you would have to raise the vehicle, and look at the tranny. There will be a higher and a lower plug on it. Remove the higher plug and stick your finger in the hole. If you feel fluid, then it is full.

Leaking transmission know were to ckeck

This is the procedure for check the fluid level if you have a automatic transmission, I hope this helps.

Be sure that transmission fluid temperature is at least 104° F (40° C). Models with 2.2L engine: To access check/fill plug: In the engine compartment, remove clamp from air hose behind cooling fan. Separate air tube from the hose and push the tube back towards the transaxle. Remove the clip holding the two power steering lines together. All Models: From underneath vehicle remove the transaxle check/fill plug with engine running. Fluid level should be even with hole. Add fluid as needed until fluid flows from hole. Replace check/fill plug and torque to 9 ft. lbs. (12 Nm).

Add transmission fluid

On 91 vehicles there's a 17mm allen screw on the side towards the left front wheel. Open it add the oil there on a level surface and fill till oil reaches the hole and starts coming out. DO NOT FILL OIL FROM THE TOP where what seems to be a plug. It's actually the timing marks and houses the clutch. Put oil there and you'll need a new clutch.
