Need rocker panels to repair 97 Grand Prix. What's best source? If I use junk yard cuts do they interchange to 2003?

    do you know if an aftermarket company makes rocker panels for the 97 grand prix??

    I have a 2002 Grand Am four door...need driver front quarter panel. If I go to a junk yard, are there other years that I can use to replace my 2002?

Yes the rockers are the same up to 2003.

I would say mabey grand am grand prix almost the same and the year is very close .
I can't say for dead sure but call a dealer or a junk yard they have books that match up parts like this .
I think its likely it would work

In a Pontiac 2002 vs. 1999 grand prix gt 3.8 liter, is the rear exhaust manifold the same style on both engines or are they different?

An interchange manual could tell you. Call a salvage yard and ask them. Those interchange manuals are quite expensive to buy and keep updated. Salvage yards require them to know if parts are interchangeable. They could quickly check for you.

if its leaking coolant from the hoses replace them quick top and bottom.if its radiator replace it ok go to junk yard its cheaper

2000 grand prix gt tail light and dash lights went out whats wrong

I am having the same problem.unfortunately its a $320 part (from Advanced auto) called a DIMMER SWITCH. its where your turn signals are wshield wipers, cruise control etc. the stick coming out of steering DIMMER SWITCH. i found one at a junk yard for $75.hope this helps, mine just did it the other day, getting switch tomorow

How to free window when motor goes out in 2002 grand prix

you can take the bolts out of the widow regulator at the window and pull the window up by hand and tape it so it stays up or since you have the door pannell off to do this you can replace the window motor its not that hard and you can get one at a local junk yard go to for local junk yards that will have this

I would sugest u going to a junk yard and finding that model.......also clip the connections to be able to repair your alt problem GL ....Also...Any 96 GP with 3.4L will be fine 4u.

2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Rocker Panel Issue

There are some awesome adhesives on the market. I am thinking about one for boats and just remember "1500" as part of the name. With marine products you will not have any problems with moisture separating it so car washes will be okay.
