I have a 1994 toyota pick up with the 22re. It starts and idles fine. When I give it throttle and it is under load it bogs down then accelerates then bogs down again. Sounds like it just isn't getting enough power. I have replaced cap, rotor, plugs and wires and removed and cleaned the mass air flow. Any more suggestions?

If you washed it down check under the distributor cap it could have condensation then spray WD 40 on to all the electrics.

tests:

cruise at say 45mph ok?
if i accelerate , it bogs then catches up?
if i accelerate, it bogs and never catches up?
if i go WOT, wide open throttle it has full power up a hill after the bog?

these test , are the KEY tests.
this tells me what is wrong.
i hope the car is tuned up, if not , why no? the 60k mile done?

Low fuel pressure can cause this or a clogged filter, has the fuel pressure been checked? Has the fuel filter ever been changed?

Check your TPS Sensor

i would check the egr valve sounds like its sticking.

check fuel presure but it is not a likely culprit likely the throtle position sensor has a bad spot in it
it is likely thet the vechale seams to act up at arround the same rpm or near same rpm every time

replace the throttle postion sensor also pull catalitic converter and clean out if it's plugged. You can remove the idle adjust screw and reset it but i would have to give you full proceedure to do that so post here for more detailed information.

Take car for trouble code at Autozone or similar store for free. it is probably the idle position sensor.(IPS)

the color of the plastic plug does not matter... You will have two injector plugs with white/red and yellow wires - those two go to cyl#'s 1 and 3.
the other two plugs will have white and blur wires.. those two plugs go to injectors # 2 and 4.
