I have a chevy venture 1998. I put freon 134a in the low valve near the radiator in the front of the van. It blows cold air in the back of the van but not in the front. Is there another valve to put freon in to make the front air work? back = middle two seats and back long seat. front= two front seats in the front. dash board air is warm.

No ,there is not another valve . One low side service port an one high side service port . An only one A/C compressor . Under the hood in the engine compartment there are A/C lines going into the firewall . These go to the front Evaparator unit . With the vehicle running an A/C on do this line's (pipes) get cold ? If yes , your problem is probably the temp. actuator . Control's how hot or cold the air coming from the vent's get . If stuck half way , hot an cold air combine to make warm air . Replacing some of these actuators can require the dash to be removed . Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop .

P.S adding unneeded refrigerant can make the A/C system not work correctly an damage A/C compressors . Taking one's vehicle to a qualified & certified repair shop is always the best idea .

SOURCE: Add middle seat belt to make 3 seat belts on a bench seat?

I'll begin by saying I'm surprised there isn't a 3rd belt on a bench seat, but I think you are entering dangerous territory. There is an immense amount of engineering, testing, and development involved in seat belt systems. They are anchored very securely at points that are reinforced and designed to withstand a human body being thrown against the belt, transferring the energy to the anchors of the belts. So, besides being beyond the scope of being possible to install by your average mechanic, I shudder to think of the legal angle. If u were to be involved in an accident, and someone was injured or worse in that seat wearing the added belt, the lawsuit possibilities are scary. Having said all this, check with your local dealer, maybe the Durango is set up somehow for an extra belt, but I've never heard it before.

SOURCE: 1998 BMW 328i Drivers Seat Problem

gears are probably not engaged. take the seat out, see if the motor drive gear is still within the teeth of the seat rail. if not, force it in. Easy to take out, 4 bolts and the seat comes up and out.

SOURCE: how to remove the middle seats

look behind the seat under the rear it's a black metal rod that runs under the seat from side to side .just above this there should be a strap sticking out the back corner of the seat .pull this strap to lay the seat forward then after you lay the seat forward reach and grab the black metal bar and squeeze the two bars together the seat will release lean it forward and lift up on the seat while still squeezing the two black bars together and the seat will lift out the track

I have a 2000 Chevy Venture van and the heat when turned on blows cold. For a while it was still blowing out warm air thru the back vents but now it is all cold. The van wouldn't warm up at all e

needs the water system back flushing out, heater being cold is its blocked up some time a few back flushes and forward flushes with a hose pipe should free up the dirt inside, same with the engine and radiator. there are meany videos on you tube to help you understand how to back flush you engie. but do the radiator and engine and heater separate so the muck does not go back into the engine.

1998 Ford Econoline Van E-150 Front A/C blows cold rear A/C blows warm?

Generally you would need to check the level of freon in the system, and probably the expansion valve in the rear unit. You should have one hot and one cold ac line going to each evaporator.

1998 chevy venture low engine coolant light comes on but the coolant level is good. heater heat at max or is cold air. is this the thermastat?

you need to check the coolant in the radiator, not just in the overflow tank, you are describing a low coolant problem, the thermostat could be the resign you have no heat but it would not explain the low coolant light, remove the radiator cap ( only when the engine is cold ) and start the engine with the cap off and then fill up the radiator........HAVE FUN

The front air isn't blowing out as hard and the back a/c blowing out but blows out hot air! what's is the number one reason for this problem?

The number one reason for hot air out the back could be low freon or bad blend door to the rear, and not blowing hard out the front could be a block in the evaporator core. the core is like a small radiator that freon flows through and air is blown through it to make cold air sometimes if they leak it blocks the fins which slows down the air flow.

How do I convert or fill 92 Jeep Cherokee air conditioning freon?

If it leaks 134 it will leak R-12 .I have changed hundreds of systems over to 134 without any complaints. Don't let the 94% eff rating of 134a scare you because that does not mean that your ac system will lose 6% cooling ability .A large class 8 truck or maybe a high roof van black on black and poor insulation might tax the system in the 90% range on 100 degree days but most systems never get close .
134a high side pressure will be about 18% higher so most systems you need to change the high side cutout. The R-12 electric fan switch will be ok just make sure it is engageing the fan when the pressure comes up.You must check the condensor in front of radiator to make sure air flows easily thru it.On systems where the hoses screw on each side of the dryer I replace the dryer .Drain oil from compressor and replace with 134a oil .Replace that bad valve core (with ac valve core not a tire valve) Now very very important vaccum the system and if no loss of vaccum in 20 min charge with manufactors recomended amount of oil and freon. If a system is low on freon (cycling in & out on low pressure switch) you can add a pound of charge with those small cans of same type freon no problem but when there is a leak and the charge has been lost or changing freon types you must pull a vaccum to properlly charge the system. If you just charge R-12 or 134a your system will have traped non -condensables and a large drop in cooling ability. Hope this helps. Harold

Air conditioning system is not colling the car ? what do Ineed to do ?

i need to know how is not cooling the car?
is the fan blowing air or is the blowing air not cold?
it probably isnt cold.lets try that.
put a set of 134a ac gauges on the system and verify pressures.if it has low freon you may hear the compressor turning on and off.if so for sure its low and you will just need to add freon.
go get a 134a fron fill kit not the conversion kit.
and begin to fill untill the comp stays on and air is blowing cold.then stop filling and enjoy.
do not over fill as this will cause it to not cool again.
