SOUND LIKE BAD TRANSMISSION YOU CAN CHECK THE TRANS PAN FOR METAL SHAVINGS TO MAKE SURE YOU NEED A REBUILD. ALSO CHE YOUR TRANSMISSION FLUID SEE IF ITS RED OR BROWN BROWN MEANS USUALLY TRANSMISSION IS BURN OUT
Unless they have something new out there that we don't know about, it is in the tranny, you have to pull the pan, dump about 5 qts fluid and get to the filter, clean off the magnet, fill her back up with fluid, you should be all set. Hope this helps.
I'm not sure on your specific model, but most automatic transmissions do not have a drain plug. You need to remove the entire bottom pan to drain the fluid.
Best method is to loosen/remove all bolts except two corner bolts, then when the pan comes loose the fluid will run from one side -- hopefully from one corner. It's always a little messy, even for experienced mechanics. Have a new gasket ready and a filter kit (you need to remove the pan to get to the filter).
