Your secondary air injection check valves are probably stuck open allowing exhaust to back flow into the hoses, melting them when the AIR pump isn't running.

Will an ac delco 219-505 GM pollution pump fit a 2000 chevy S10 sport pickup 2.2 liter vin: 1GCCS1451YK288100?

The only way to tell is to pull yours out and match it up. Bolt holes, pulley size and how the air tube point. You could call a parts store, they maybe able to help.

How do I replace hydraulic line from pump to right arm on my 96 753 bobcat

to replace hoses on hydraulic equipment you have to have all the parts in the relaxed position clean the area of the connections so that dirt will not get into the system.

that is the bucket on the ground, allowed to tilt forward

nothing can be held under hydraulic pressure

the engine should be shut off

use spanners to undo hose fittings (no hands)

ensure a safe work procedure and wear rubber gloves , eye ware ,face shield and keep hands away from connections ---oil under pressure can penetrate the skin and cause immediate death ---

once you have the hose disconnected replace it with a new hose

after fitting the new hose and tightening the fittings ,start the engine and cycle the hydraulics as this eliminates the air in the system

leaking exhaust should not cause lite to come on unless it is before the catalytic converter. the pollution fault could a small thing such as a lose gas cap, or hose of off the canister under the car.

Anti pollution fault flashing up on dashboard

The computer has detected a problem with the emission system on the vehicle. Start by checking your gas cap is on and tight. Have a look under the hood for any disconnected hoses especially around the air filter assembly. The vehicle may have to be scanned to properly diagnose an emission fault

Air conditioner works poorly

I would suspect the condenser in front of the radiator
needs a good cleaning & radiator as well

After 8 or 10 years the system will start to leak at the
compressor clutch seal & odd chance that a hose fitting
leaks or a hose it's self leaks thru the many layers of
rubber & other fabric

So you need to have the a/c system leak checked, pressure
checked & may get away with adding some refrigerant, may

I don't like to do that,always find a leak & repair,that way your
not polluting the atmosphere

Do you have a cabin filter?

Air pollution to exhaust manifold keeps blowing a hose, the silver piece, what is this and what do I do?

I assume by your description your talking about the little crossover hose that goes from the exhaust manifold to the Air Filter housing. This acts a little like a pre-heater to an extent. Get a couple of circular clamps to tighten down on the hose connectors to hold them in place. That is the easiest solution to this. I see this problem a lot. It really doesn't effect the vehicle performance that much but in states that require inspections it the crossover isn't present it can fail you on inspection.

What is the rubber connecting hose after the air intake filter called

It could be called a breather hose. If it has an open end near the radiator, it brings cool air into the engine making it run better than it would sucking hot air from the engine compartment.
A 1986 car probably doesn't have the hose going to another unit. If it does that different and probably helps to lower your air pollution. All combustion engines spew out some pollution.

Where is the drain plug on the radiator? 1997 Mercury Sable station wagon

as i recall, it is on the back of the radiator on the engine side at the bottom, probably under the lower radiator hose. it is a t fitting, probalby really tight, dont break it off. and be sure and have something to hold the coolant and not let it run in the gutter. critters drinking it, especially birds, die from it, and your neighbors get upset when you pollute

This is a code related to the air flow from the air pump (aka pollution pump) into your exhaust system. This air pump takes outside air and injects it in the exhaust stream after the engine to help burn off any residual fuel or pollutants. When P0411 comes up, the control module detects a lack of air flow either caused by a defective air pump, leaking/clogged air hoses, or bad check valves.

Scrambler pollution tube repair

I believe that is a check valve. There is a replaceable type that has a female pipe thread on the side that goes to the air injection manifold (pollution tube). So, the ideal repair would be to weld a pipe thread adapter to the manifold in place of the factory check valve, then thread on one of the newer style check valves. That is, of course, if you cannot find a replacement factory style air injection manifold
