Can i replace broken cable on a power window

Can you?

I do not know, have you ever removed a door panel
& worked on a window regulator?

You can get the broken regulator cable assy at a
dealer & possibly order from auto parts store also

Just wear long sleeves & thin gloves when you can

Lots of sharp edges there, so keep the band aids next
to the job.

2006 kia rio door handle rod broken

2006 Kia Rio is a cable not a rod and most often the cable will break at the connection point near the handle, there is a metal end that is manufatured on the cable and where these two meet is a weak or high stress point. The problem is there is no fix for this other than replacing the door latch which has the cables attached to it at the factory. Cost can run from $55 to $125 dollars depending on where you purchase. Replacing is basic DIY removing window crank, door handle trim piece, door panel, then unbolting latch assembly and replacing with new one. Reverse assemble door and problem solved.

Vehicles: Any with the above symptoms.

The small popping noise was some component in the Window Operator Mechanism breaking - the cable may have snapped, a plastic pulley may have broken, a plastic cable guide may have broken - it could be anything.

The reason you can't see the Window Operator Motor or the track is that it is behind the moisture barrier - remove it by carefully peeling it back at the edges of the door frame (so that it can be re-adhered back to the same door frame location without adding adhesive/sealant).

When you get to the Operator, be prepared to have to drill out some number of aluminum rivets to remove the OEM Operator, and, when installing the new Window Operator Mechanism, you'll have to replace these rivets with your own Pop Rivets, or they can be replaced with small hardware store nuts/bolts/washers (mechanics choice). Have an assortment of both ready before you attempt your Window Operator Mechanism replacement.

If the broken component of your Driver's Door Window Operator Mechanism is actually a missing/broken rivet, then replacing that would fix the Window.
But these rivets hardly ever fail - what fails is plastic components in the Window Operator Mechanism.

What does the cable hook to inside my door panel to control my power window 03 durango window is on track just not controled by motor

it sound like you already have the door panel off.
the steel cable is part of the window regulator, if the cable has come off
it usally means something on the regulator has broken and the whole regulator has to be replaced.

Need to replace the passengers side, front door window crank and assembly, the window will not roll up, I pulled the door panel and seen the cable laying in there, it appears to have a broken plastic...

The mechanism is called a window regulator and you have to replace the entire unit if a plastic piece broke that supports the cable. The mechanism is bolted to the door. is a great pro grade shop manual.

Motor on the drivers window is working but window does not move at all

The cable or the window lifter guides are more then likely broken. You will need to remove the inner door trim to check the window mechanism. If the cable is broken you will get a crunching noise when you try to operate the window. The mechanism will have to be replaced.
