Grinding or rubbing sound on front driver side already replaced brakes rotor and wheel bearing

Remove the wheel and turn it by hand to see if there are not anything catching on the rotor. There are lose clips and sometimes do not fit properly. If it is a front wheel drive check your cv joint.

I need to fit a fanbelt tensioner on my citreon berlingo 1.9d forte 2002 model

Are you replacing the whole tensioner or just the wheel and bearing? If the bearing is just the problem it is just bolted on. You can buy the wheel only at the dealer or on line here.

It looks like something behind my rear wheel is broken; the part the brake pad is attached to; either that part or behind that part something is broken causing the wheel to wabble like its about to fall...

Sounds like a wheel bearing. If you jack up that side of the car and the wheel flops around than the bearing is bad. It is not uncommon for these vehicles. They usually start to make a lot of noise before they get that sloppy.

The bearing is a bolt in style and as long as you have a basic set of tools, a socket to fit the axle nut, and a 1/2" torque wrench to torque the axle nut on the new bearing, it is a pretty easy job to do.

Rear wheel bearing hub replacement on a 2002 pontiac grand prix

It is a tight fit, a few wacks with a hammer should loosen it. Hit on the back side of the flange where the wheel mounts, try to drive it away from the car, after making sure you have removed all the bolts.

Have 2002 ford explorer, right rear wheel feels loose. checked lugs, all tight, pulled wheel and rotor is wobbly, losse. what's the cause?

You need a wheel bearing....don't drive it. Tow it to a dealer.! Ford wheel bearings are cheaper than aftermarket.
250-300 dollar fix.

How do you change rear wheel bearing on mondeo 2002 tdci thanks? muzz.

The new bearing comes complete with hub and abs sensor, just remove the wheel, the brake caliper and disc, the connector for the abs, and the hub nut. Slide the worn hub off, fit the new one and refit components in the order you removed them. New bearing from Ford is over £200, but you should find a QH one for around £78 inc. vat.

How to change rear wheel bearings on 1995 eagle talon tsi turbo. I have the tool (borrowed) and still cannot get the bearing out. Lots of junk in the way, disc brakes and pads (parking only). Really need...

I don't know what tool you have, but you usually need a press to get the old bearing out. You will have to remove the rear spindle, then you will be able to remove the lock ring, and press the old bearing out. Install the new bearing with the press reinstall snap ring, then reattach to the car.
