Check the battery to see if it will hold a charge, but it could be your alternator is not charging your battery properly, decreasing power that you have for your car.

Buy new, because they are a pain to change in the fuel tank. Plus if you are intending to buy a used one there is no guarantee if it works, its pressure or how long it will last?
This happened to my 95 Royale while driving around town. I checked the battery terminals and one was slightly loose. After tightening it, no more dying.
You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem. Is the check engine light on ? Have you checked for trouble codes ? It could be a relay, the ignition module, coil, key switch, or a list of other things.
It may be time for a pro to look at it. You dont want to guess wrong on a PCM. Are you sure you have Injector pulse? One side of the fuel injectors should have power and the pcm grounds them to make them open. If the engine runs on carb cleaner its not getting fuel.
Most likely you are correct and the wire connectors are not plugged in completely. Check that all the connectors are plugged all the way together anf lock in place together.
