Question about 2005 Hummer H2

Engine looses power or stalls intermittently. replaced throttle sensor still having problems. any ideas?

If gas engine could be as simple as air and or fuel filter to possibly a melted catalitic converter, if diesel , start with fuel filter and air filter

Chevy impala stalling issues whats the problem

That could be a lot of thing's , stalling when ,cold ,hot ,idling , in gear , coming to a stop etc... Could have a vacuum leak , problem with IAC valve - idle air control , an one of a few different sensors could be bad , mass air flow sensor , coolant temp sensor etc.. You need to have some testing done , scan tool hooked up to check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes , also check engine sensor data parameters . What engine does yours have ? 3.4 or 3.8 L .
Test for conditions which cause an incorrect idle speed.

Throttle body tampering, excessive deposits, or damage. Refer to Fuel System Description .

Restricted air intake system

Large vacuum leak

Inspect the air intake ducts for being collapsed, damaged areas, looseness, improper installation, or leaking especially between the mass air flow (MAF) sensor and the throttle body.

Inspect crankcase ventilation valve for proper operation.

Inspect the throttle position (TP) sensor and related wiring. Refer to DTC P0123 .

Monitor the 24X crank sensor and the CMP sensor present parameters on the scan tool. If both are not responding, test the sensor feed circuit. Both sensors use a separate feed circuit but are internally connected to power. Test all CKP sensor A and CMP sensor circuits for intermittents. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

Monitor the 3X parameter on the scan tool. If the 3X is not responding, inspect the CKP sensor B and circuits for intermittents. Inspect the ignition control (IC) circuit, IC timing control circuit, low resolution engine speed signal circuit and the low reference circuit for intermittents. If these circuits become open, or shorted may not set a DTC immediately, but are capable of causing driveability complaints. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

Test the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system for proper operation. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) System Description .

Inspect the transaxle range switch input with the vehicle in drive and the gear selector in drive or overdrive.

Vt 275 ICP issues

That sounds like a bad spot in the throttle position sensor. Have you checked that, or substituted a new one for it?

on dodge motors
fitted a lot of parts and still no better

the fault code clears and comes back as a intermittent problem

could be electrical voltage drop off or heat related failure

i wonder if your 02 sensor ,the catalytic converter
or other related sensors
are causing the fault to come back
if needed a new air filter...

how the test is determined

When Monitored and Set Condition:
When Monitored: With the engine idling and the transmission in drive, if automatic.
There must not be a MAP sensor trouble code or a Throttle Position Sensor trouble code.
Set Condition: The engine idle is not within 200 rpm above or 100 rpm below the target
idle for 40 seconds. One trip fault.

I had the intake manifold gaskets replaced on my 2002 Cad. esc. Ext. a couple weeks ago due to a vacuum leak. Now the the engine dies intermittently when I am stopped and in gear. The mechanic claims to...

You may have a problem with the power brake booster . If the check valve is bad ,or the brake booster it will leak vacum when brakes are applied. Hope that helps

Lots of things it could be. Egr valve sticking, a hose that came off, a bad sensor for airflow, or even throttle position sensor.

Intermittent nature seems to point to something sticky or loose.

Jaguar 1995 XJ6 idle doesn't hold

I had this problem with my wifes car. I went through the car top to toe and found more than one problem causing this intermittant issue.
I found a weak crank sensor, when warm it was intermittantly losing a signal, replaced it and the problem was a little better, I then found that the throttle position sensor was also intermittantly not within the range it should be, replaced it and it helped, I then was getting the oxygen sensor code and that was only due to the car stalling, nothing to do with the o2's, I finally traced the final issue to the integral harness on the valve body inside the transmission, I replaced that harness and fitted a new transmission speed sensor and the car has been perfect.
I know you have several issues here that could be your problem but you now have a base to start from.
Last thing is the car may just need an engine set-up if you are no longer having any codes. This is only done by the dealer using there WDS computer system. The perform a oxygen sensor orientation test, they set-up the kick down and also set-up the Throttle positon sensor (TPS).

I have a Tucson 2005. There is an intermittent problem where the car lurches a little and the engine stalls when I slow down or come to a stop. The Hyundai service mechanics said first it was the snorkle...

An idea to consider. I had a similar problem with an automatic Nissan Primera which stalled 50 percent of the time when idling and when coming to a stop would intermittently **** forward and the engine would then stall. It turned out to be a gearbox problem. The "gears" were not being selected correctly by the lever and were out on adjustment. In my case the gear lever would also tighten up a little when going into Park. After getting the gearbox serviced and the linkages freed up the problem went away. An idea from left field for what it is worth from my own experiences.
