My 2006 Hummer H3 is running rough. Almost stalling when I stop and it's tough to accelerate again. Just started today when I was running errands and the check engine light came on tonight when I was out again. I did refuel today when I was running on fumes and filled up with a new type of fuel, premium from BP.

I brought my 2006 H3 in to the dealer for the same thing. My blower stopped working all together but it started as an intermittent problem. He said he had to replaced a diode or resistor either behind the switch on the dash that controls the fan or on the fan motor itself. Have not had a problem since but that was only about 4 months ago.

if it is the brake lights that are on check the brake light switch on the brake pedal

I'm not 100% on this but I think it's like a lot of GM's; turn the key to the "on" position(not running), stomp the gas pedal to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds & the light should flash & go out.

Probably too late now, I am sure you have already fixed it, but mine did this and it was an electrical part that is mounted right beside the blower fan. The part was OK, but the plug into the part was arcing and burned out the connection. A Chevy mechanic told me this has been happening to MANY Chevy products. I had to buy a new part and plug assembly with new wires, about 100 dollars, and I spliced them together. It was an Easy fix, but I shouldn't have had to do it :(
