It's the print Circuit Board, it needs repair / or replace it with a second hand set of clocks.

Replace ignition switch, also at same time you should upgrade the ignition cylinder to avoid a stuck lock.

I had this problem in an escort. The ignition switch was going bad. The car would still have current to the engine but the guages lost power. Next time it does it, try wiggling the ignition switch around.

2000safari i was drivin the van died i have no power now and the battary is dead.

A possible alternator failure. It would have shown a battery charging warning light on the dash before failure if this is the case.
Restart with a donor battery and check dashboard for charge warning indicator. If illuminated, then replace alternator.

How to reset the battery dashboard warning light on chevy tahoe

a new battery will keep the volts up for a while. the light warns that there is a problem, usually its the alternator, one way to check is to loosen the positive battery cable, a little, start the car and disconnect the positive cable if the car dies the alternator is bad if it still runs its probably ok

My dashboard and gauges keep flickering on and off

sound like you have a lose connection it could be the cables on to the dash or the socket it fits to. you would need to remove the dash and clean the connection and re fit it. if you push on the dash does it stop. ? just check this first as some times its just a tiny amount of play in the connections that's the problem .

Brake failure urgent , abs light, low battery

So many lame responses...I went through this same experience and can tell you in my case it was the alternator. All of the warning lights such as the ABS light, airbag light, the warning about the brakes are all because the alternator is not providing the DC voltage all of the car's sophisticated electronics need to correctly monitor these subsystems' status. Mine left me high and dry by the side of Interstate 5 needing a tow. The low battery warning was off and on for about an hour before all of the other warning lights came on, and then about 5 minutes later every needle on the dash went to zero and the car died. After sitting waiting for the tow, it did start up again, but we got it towed to a dealer (thank god it got us within 8 miles of a dealer! the first warnings started when we were in the sticks) who diagnosed it as an alternator. $1200 and two days later and all is well again.
