Just wanted to say that there is a plastic bracket holding the steering hose to the frame as it goes to the steering fluid cooler at the drivers' front of grille. They usually leak as moisture and salt are held against metal line held in this bracket.

SOURCE: power steering leak on a 1988 full size bronco

The gear box is a common problem on this model. That would be the place I would start. A cheap, temporary fix is to go to your local parts store and ask for Lucas Power Steering Stop-Leak. It will buy you some time.

Oil drip with oil smells like gasoline

Could be 2 problems. Some rear main seals leak with oil flowing out where trans joins engine. You should crawl under vehicle and look directly up from oil leak, If inside garage use a newpaper to catch current drip.

Gassy oil can be leaking fuel injector draining into oil pan. Sometimes dirty fuel injector will stay open and fuel pressure will continue to drain into motor after vehicle is off. Sometimes stuff like seafoam will clean injectors.

Just want to know how many quarts of oil for a 2003 ford expedition

There should be no less than 5 quarts of oil including what is retained in the oil filter. In some Ford Heavy and medium duty applications as in pick-ups and truck chassis based SUV's you will find it has a seven quart capacity.

How do you know if your power stearing pump is going bad on a 1998 ford expedition

When the power steering pump is going bad, you will be hearing a humming sound when you turn the steering while on idling and while driving at high speed.

At situations like this no repair can be done. Replacement is the recommended solution when you got a bad power steering pump.

Good luck and rate this.

I have encountered this quite a few times and it requires either dropping the steering column or removing the instrument cluster to access where the bolt goes. Normally before the bolt falls out you will notice you have some slack in the shift lever. The bolt that usually falls out on the fords has a torq/allen hole in it. These bolts hold the shift lever to the steering column.

1998 Ford Escort Water dripping from tailpipe

This is quite normal -- all cars do this, some are just more noticeable. Once the car heats up, the water evaporates inside the exhaust system and you never see it!
