There may be another circuit supplying power to the key switch, separate from the accessory portion. Check your fuses in the fuse/relay block under the hood. It could be a bad key switch, but you need to check for power into the switch first. Ignition switches usually have more than one hot wire in.

Neutral lockout switch or ignition switch if the car is an automatic. Switch on the clutch if it is a stick. If auto try starting it in neutral.

May need a new gauge module, Involves removal of dash to replace.

hi, if your brake lights wont turn off the the problem you are having is with the switch at the back of the brake pedal it may have come loose or need adjusting.
to find the brake light switch you need to get on your hands and knees and have a close look at the brake pedal, follow the pedal to the top where it goes through into the bonnet and you should then see the brake light switch just behind the brake pedal at the top, it will have a couple of wires going to it now you can either remove the switch or disconect the wires to switch the brake lights off but you should be able to see how it works and adjust it so that your brake lights start working properly again.

Most of them were located over the transmission hump and sort of under the dash OR behind the kick panels just ahead of the doors. Not easy to find.

replace brake light switch on brake pedal if if turn singaldo work after that then u need com. switch for turn singals

Recheck all your connections, battery. starter, look for fuseable link on small wire going to starter. Might want to chk.that wire with test light when key switch is in start position and see if it lights. If it does not light might be starter switch under dash on steering colume.

the key and tumbler need to be replace.for now if your battery is good turn key to the run posistion till all lights on dash are on.do this for twelve minutes the light should stop flashing this will reset the security system.

There is no switch to turn it off. when the alarm is in alarm mode you have to lock all doors, then use key to unlock drivers door or rear hatch. This will turn alarm off
