Where is the trunk release button on a 1987 olds delta 88

There is a sensor in the belt buckle that wears out over time and also gets dirty. Try cleaning the buckle if that does not work replace the sensor. Does the drivers window not roll down and that is what makes you think it has no power? Take the door pannel off and have someone push the window button while you test to see if it gets power from a volt meter. If it does then the motor is bad.

The compression ratio should be 8.5:1.

Are the fans coming on?

Being an older car model, you can probably get them out if you know someone with a slimjim. This is a long, narrow strip of metal with a type of hook on each side. This would be slid between the window and the door and allow you to catch onto the locking mechanism and release the lock. If this doesn't work, can you use a wire coathanger and get it into the car to release the door lock? Another thing you can do is find a friend with a AAA card. They could call it in and have a locsmith come out and unlock the door. If someone with AAA rides in your car, their AAA benefits will cover getting your car unlocked
