Hi hows it goin i have a bmw 320d e46 03 plate the car will start no prob when cold but when its warm it sometimes wont start for 20 mins and just have to leave it sit there this is happening more often any help would be great thanks

It has a sensor fault but the problem is finding the fault ,best advice here is to ask BMW dealer to have a look for you as sometimes this sort of fault could be anything from a sensor to a microprocessor and without the correct software its very difficult to locate

Hi it seems like key is not responding. Its been immobilised.
you need to get some one down to get the key to be read by the car. Possibly need the car key reprogram

Glow plugs are to warm the cylinder in cold weather. It will not stop it from running.

When i start in the morning my 320d bmw litlbit smoke and engine shaking.after 5-10 minit when wom up then ok evre thing,please can let me know what is the problem???thank you.

perhaps some water condensation in the empty tank that then caused the smoke and shaking during warming up.

Refill with good branded Diesel a full tank and have a drive for 30 mins possibly warming at high revs (or low gear to warm faster)

97 m3 bmw starts fine cold after warming up hard to start

it could be the starter, they can be affected by heat from being near exhaust components, or it could be the starter solenoid... also bad ignition timing could cause that

change the cabin filter will get rid of the smell however for cold ac you will need to recharge the ac and have a black light test in 5 days or less after it was recharged. then they would spot for a leak in the ac system
