You can jump the car without opening the hood.Jack the vehicle up on the starter motor side.get a jumper battery and jumper cables.with the jumper cables connect the positive terminal of the jumper battery to the positive feed (thats the cable that comes from your vehicles battery) on the stater motor. using the negative jumper cable side, earth the jumper battery on the gearbox or starter housing, preferebly. Chrysler Town and Country. How to get in with flat battery and open the hood?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to category.

There are two ways.

Get under the engine and attach a car battery charger red lead to the heavy red wire on the starter, connect the black wire of the charger to any clean bare metal part. In 15 minutes, you will be able to open the doors.

Or, call a locksmith out.

Get Door To Open With Dead Battery So I can pop the Hood Switch

I imagine the obvious answer is to use a key in the door lock cylinder. The reason you have done this is because there is no door lock cylinder! You only have a fob is my guess, that electronically opens the doors. Dead battery..and the fob no longer works. Don't worry, examine your fob and there should be a way to open it. Carefully open the fob and surprise! There is a key inside of it! Now take that key and there ahould be a key lock cylinder above your rear license plate. You should be able to open your rear hatch. Now somewhere to the drivers side in the rear compartment there should be some sort of pull you can use which will open the drivers door. Hope that helps you out!

Keyless remote will not open door and I cannot open it manually

Try changing the battery in the remote first.. try a spare remote.. if not

oh dear.. ok amm you have 2 choices ... you can contact a dealer and ask them for a second remote and wait a bit for it,, or hijack your car..

To hijack

Firstly we need to open the hood ,, to to this

1.) look inside the grill for the cable u use to pop the hood, (you can also crawl under the car)
2.) trace the cable up to the lock mechanism, use a bird beak pliers or any pliers and grab the cable itself (not the shield) pull and the lock will open.. (if you cant reach or see the mech you will need to cut the cable and pull it.. (avoid this)..
In worse case,, send a crow bar up the grill or under the car,, aim it at the hood lock and hit it ,, it will pop or break.. (thats how theives do it)

Now to open the door..
1.) remove positive battery terminal (once your battery is charged and hasnt run dead) if its dead then thats why u couldn't open the door..
2.) tap the pole rapidly against the positive battery terminal (touch and lift and repeat) until the door locks open.. *preety cool way to open electronic locks" thats how thieves open the electronic ones..

If done correctly it should take you 20 seconds to get into your car..

1998 porsche boxster, battery is dead on car, and

This is a common problem. Your alarm was on when the battery went dead. When the alarm activated, the hood/bonnet opening lever locks to prevent thieves from opening the hood in case the top is down. Some boxsters have a jumper post the pulls out near the fuse box. However, I do not think the 1997-1999s have this post.

Buy a male-to-male cigarette lighter adapter at the auto store. Connect between your car's cigarette lighter socket and the other car's cigarette lighter socket. Do not try to start the ignition or the any other electronics. You should not even need the key in the ignition. You should be able to pop the door locks with the remote and open the bonnet.

You may also need to recover your radio code: http://www.a2dvoices.com/realitycheck/porsche/

best idea i can think of is to be careful and you can connect the jumper cable to the main power at the starter and the ground to almost anything under there to get enough power to get the doors to pop its a pain but it beat paying the lock smith
