There could be several reasons why your break lights wont work. Blown bulbs, bad wiring or the brake light switch has gone bad.

SOURCE: rear parking lights arent working

I believe your problem is a quick fix and caused by either a poor ground or corrosion. Begin by going to an auto parts store and purchasing an aerosol can of one of their anticorrosive sprays. Remove the lenses from the rear lights and spray everything well. Remove the bulbs and spray the bulb sockets. etc. If that doesnt fix it trace the ground wire to where it is bolted to the frame and spray that. then make sure it is tight by putting a wrench on the bolt and snugging it down.

Normally you'll find a brake switch at arm of brake pedal, up under dash. Switch should have 12v going in one side, when pedal not pushed, and both sides when pedal is pushed.

SOURCE: winshield wipers arent working, already tried to

there is only one fuse box for the fuses.have you tried to turn the wipers on and tap the wiper motor to see if it starts(if it does then the motor is bad internally),if that doesn`t work then connect a jumper wire from a good ground to the body of the wiper motor.if it starts to work then the wiper motor has a bad ground and needs one connected to is possible it could be a wiper switch.

SOURCE: I have a 1999 VW Bug, My break lights just stopped

I think the FI RST thing I would check is the brake lamp switch. It should have power on the RED/BROWN wire all the time. The RED/BLACK wire should be hot when the pedal is depressed. If you have the power on the RED/BROWN as decribed, but cannot get any power on the RED/BLACK wire, then you must replace the switch. Another wat to double-check this is to disconnect the connector at the brake light switch and use a paper clip to jumper the wires together. The brake lights should come on, if they do come on. replace the brake lamp switch.

My cadillac cts 04 the break lights wont turn off. i already changed the break light switch im thinking its the fuse. wats the name of this fuse and were do i find it? any help is good thank you

Hello. Under your brake pedal is a switch with a plunger on, that activates your lights when depressed. Just follow up along the pedal and you will see (probably) a white switch. It sounds like the plunger switch is stuck in. These are quite cheap to replace and you might be able to prise the plunger switch out to turn the brake lights off. If it was a fuse it would not work. Can you leave feedback if this helps. Thanks

My break lights aren't working

If all of your lights inside and out arent working, then its sounds like an electrical isuue. that cost as much as $1500 dollars. But i would start with checking the fuses in your relay box under the hood. That is usually where the lights fuse is at. Some cars have two fuse boxes and a relay box, one fuse box is inside the car, one is under the hood, and the relay box is under the hood. So i would check the relay box under the hood or fuse box if you can find one. granted your brother checked them all, it sounds to me like an obvious blown fuse... good luck
