The first place to look is on your battery cables . look at the negitive cable at the battery you will see the main cable coming out and also a smaller black wire. this is your ground for the computer. if it has a bad connection it will not start. this is the most common problem to start with let me know how you do.

Try to do a quick test by reving your engine to 3000 RPM if you can hear any knocking sound from the engine then try to perform a clutch kick for automatic transmission you can do this by stepping your left foot on the brake and rev you throttle for at least 3T RPM dont forget to put it on drive... then let go... if it stalls or did not do a burn out then you must bring your car to a qualified mechanic and replace your ECU or related problems such as miss firing of spark plugs due to a bad or broken Egnition Coils...

If it turn over too fast maybe the timing belt.

Remove one spark plug after crank it long if the spark plug is wet, there is no spark.
If the spark plug is dry, thre is no fuel.

if there is no fuel or spark check all the fuses, if there is no spark swap EFI relay, this relay is in engine compartment.

Is the engine turning over and just not starting? Go back to basics, you need fuel, fire, compression, and proper timing to get it to start. Check the fuel pump, do you hear it run when you turn the key on? Do you have fuel pressure, if so check for spark at the spark plugs, if you have spark try turning the engine over and have a buddy spray some starting fluid in the throttle body, if it tries to start then you have a fuel problem. If no fire check dist module, ign coil and coil wire.

De-activate immobilizer of 98 Toyota Corolla

Simple thing to do is have your coils checked.. You should have spark if they are good.. If you still dont then disconnect battery at least 20 - 25 mins see if it resets ecm and alarm. May begin to work properly again..

1985 Ford Ranger will not start when damp and cool outside.

possibly distributor cap getting wet. Try this. When it's not starting, remove distributor cap and dry inside and outside with hair dryer on warm setting. See if it starts then. If yes, replace cap and rotor and make sure plug wires are clean.
If it still doesn't start, you may be getting mositure in a wire connector that operates spark to plugs.

Are you getting spark at plugs when it own't start?
Check by getting a spark plug and plugging a spark plug wire into it and grounding the side of the plug. crank engine and watch for spark at gap.
