I was accelerating the other day and all of a sudden my car starts bucking and losing acceleration. After about a minute it dies completlely. I wait a few minutes and try to start it and it starts barely then dies again. Now it won't turn over at all, it just sounds like it wants to but won't fully. All the lights are working, just replaced the distributor cap and rotor and checked and I'm getting fuel through the fuel filter. Suggestions?

A drivability problem will usually trigger a service engine code. Have a scanner retrieve these codes and go from there. Too many possibilities to make a guess.

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. Flow valve in the transmission is sticking most likely.this is usually caused by some other failure creating metal particals that should not be in the system.Good luck!
