How do i fix code p0403 p0405 and p0134 on 2000 pontiac granprix 3.1 lot v6

You swapped out a lot of components. Did you address the P0403 malfunction code?

Is the check engine light on ? Any DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored ? If any of these are true , light on or code's stored monitors will not set . Too set all monitors you do a drive cycle . A very specific way of driving your vehicle .

Take it to a qualified repair if you have to ask .

I had this alarm on my 2008 Equinox. I did not have it code scanned, but I found on the internet that a code P0403 or P0405 could suggest a faulty EGR .
I took a chance and replaced it for about $80 bucks and 30 mins. time and it corrected my problem so far.
I think Autozone will run a code scan on your SUV for free and they might suggest something else.

code p0403 refers to EGR --circuit malfunction===causes ---wiring--EGR solenoid---ECM
code p0405 refers to EGR valve position sensor A --low input===causes ---wiring ---short to ground---EGRF valve position sensor--- ECM.
By only changing the EGR valve you have not fixed the problems that cause the valve not to work.

P0405 is : exhaust Gas Recirculation sensor A circuit low.
it's an EGR problem. could be wire current or EGR valve problem.

the P0403 means Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit.

Code P0403 - denotes "EGR Solenoid Malfunction"

Have the EGR solenoid tested and if not to manufacturer's specifications, replace.
