Looking for a new or reproduction decal for California smog code ZCW for a 1987 elcamino 305 v8 restoration. GM part #10051431. the elcamino store does not have this one

I have a 85 chev.K10 that didn't come with a check engine. now Ca. smog referee wants one installed. What I need is a wiring diagram that shows the wiring dia. that shows where to hook it up to.

Was your vehicle purchased new in California? If it did not come with one from the factory when new.. they cannot require you to update to something that does not exist!!!! Get a hold of the local GM dealership (Chevy).. and see what was available.. there should be someone there that knows the california smog law...

What is the plug gap for 2003 Chevy Suburban with V8 Z engine ?

there is a decal under the hood somewhere that has the plug gap on it. I think the gap is .052".

The engine warms up and choke opens but the rpm's do not reduce 1987 elcamino 305 v8

..the trobule I had was a seal/washer (60) that was sticking the shaft(57) on me,after a good lube,it work fine.. just a heads up..

Need an emissions schamatic for my 1984 K10 silverado 305 engine

Unfortunately, there are 13 variations for this engine and year. Was this truck sold or modified for high altitude? Was it sold in California or modified to meet the CA emission standards? Does it have a manual or auto transmission? After narrowing down based on answers to these questions, there are still alternative configurations depending on the particular equipment, so look carefully at the diagrams to see which components are used on your engine. Sometimes you can match the 3 letter code for the diagram to letters in the VIN or a sticker in the engine compartment. Please let me know if you have questions.
