If you open the glove box, on the outside of it facing the drivers seat there should be a code there. If not, the only code they offered was a small card that had 3 stickers on it that came with the manual. Those three stickers were suppose to be placed in the appropriate spots. If the original owner did this, then the code should be there on the side of the glove box. Thanks.

Took batery out to charge it, when I put the batery back in the car started fine, everything works fine except the radio, all lights are on but there is no sound coming frm the speakers?

It's an anti-theft thing. A code has to be punched in to the radio to make it work again. If you are the original owner that code should be somewhere in the paperwork. Between a dealer or previous owner you of your car you should be able to retrieve that code. Hope that helps..

What is the radio code for the 2002 Honda CRV. We just replaced a dead battery and now the radio does not work. Very Frustrating!

Three ways to get the code.
1.check the glove for the code, there might be a white sticker with the code on it.
2.with car on and radio off. hold down 1 and 6 on radio and turn radio on while holding down 1 and 6 down. If you're luck, the radio will show you the audio SN#. The first half of the SN# will be display first and the second half will be display next.
3.you will have to remove the radio. The SN# printed on a sticker on the radio.

call your honda dealer and give them the SN# and they will give you your audio code.
good luck

I have 93 honda civic and after disconecting the batery to replace the alternator now when i turn radio it says code i dont have owner manual so how do i find out what it is to beab le to listen again?

You can call the dealer to get the code for your radio, you need your vin Number and you may have to go to the dealer with Id to prove you are the owner, we don't give out the informaton here because we have no way to verify that you are the owner of the radio. This is to protect you and others from getting thier radio stolen.

Had dead battery in 2002 honda civic got jump now word CODE in radio display

try disconecting the positive terminal of the batery for sevral minets (5-10) this will reset the brain box memory for the stero aswell as for the car it self.

what caused the batery to go dead in the first place?
things that i can think of :
1) left headlights on over night
2) bad altenator not charging batery
3) battery is old and not taking a charge anymore
4) new stero installed incorectly and drainging the batery
have you resently installed a new stero or amplifyer?
is the turn key igntion system hooked into the amp/stero antena lead so that thy are shut of when the ignition is?
of note: new streo >theres a blue wire marked ant that goes to the amplifyer if not there you need to find the orange accsesory wire coming from the turn key igntion>check for power when ignition is in the on & off states could be yellow in some cars but is usaly orange if this wire has on and of state controled by the turn key igntion this would be the wire to tap into for the amplyfire and the radio main power
check your radio's instaltion guide for code errors
its posible that when hooking up the jump it was done incorectly and blew up the radio
ie postive and negative where fliped
hope this helped :)
