On the 2002 chrysler sebring the fuel filter is located inside the actual fule pump. You have to pull the pump out of the tank and break the fuel pump down in order to repalce it.
Fuel filters are usually located under the driver side of the car. it will be a metal cylinder with 2 lines on it. one going to the engine and one coming from the gas tank.

Could be a bad oil pressure switch, or a bad oil pump. Both will cause this issue. Hope it is the switch b/c the oil pump is a costly repair.

you need to loosen the clamp on the throttle body and unplug the map sensor then there are two clips on the other end pull that out and you should be able to pull the filter out you don't need to take the box off.

I would check if it is in the gas tank on that model. you can go to your local parts store and they should be able to inform you of this.

All gas charged supports are not created equal. I recommend using O.E. for this application.
Snow,ice and trapped water make the lid heavier than it should be make sure these are not the issue.

The fuel filter located in the tank is good for the life of the pump and does not need replacing. The filter usually changed is under the car - follow the fuel lines till you find the small barrel type container with a fitting on each end. (Note the direction of flow indicated by the arrow on the filter.)
