Hi,
What do you mean it wont start?
Will the engine turn over or it wont?
Will the engine not fire up when you try to start it.
Let me know and I can give you more information.
Thanks
Jason
My Batter is fine, I turn the key to start the engine and nothing happens. There is now sound of a solenoid engaging or any indication that the engine is trying to turn over.My Batter is fine, I turn the key to start the engine and nothing happens. Disconnect the battery, wait five minutes and reconnect the battery. When you turn the switch on the CD will eject. You just gave your car a hard reboot. There's nothing wrong with the player and everything returns to normal. 10/31/2019
thermostat sticking. pressure cap (radiator cap) to low release pressure. Pressure work like this water boil at 212F each pound of pressure cap = 3 degrees F . then a 15 psi cap is 15 x 3 = 45F so it means that water coolant will boil at 212F +45F + antifreeze boiling point.
try starting the car and while running disconnect the negative battery cable,if the car still runs turn on the head lights,if the car dies the alternator is weak. I think its weak and can charge the battery as long as the lights are off,but cant keep up when theyare on. so if drive most of the time in the day time you are ok as long as you dont have to start the car too many times. when you drive with the lights on and the engine slows to an idle like when you park the car dies. make sense?
1. With your car OFF, place your key in the ignition and turn to "On". Do not start the car. 2. Find the odometer button and press until it reads the total odometer setting, (not the Trip A or Trip B setting). 3. Turn the key to OFF. 4. Place your finger back on the odometer button, press and hold. At the same time, turn the key back to "On". 5. Hold the odometer button in until the MAINT REQD light goes out...should take about 8-10 seconds.
page 77 of the 2004 Lexus rx330 handbook... (you will find the answer you are looking for in resetting your maintenance light.) with
the odometer reading visible, (not trip A or trip B..) turn off engine.
While keeping Odo/trip button depressed, turn ignition back on (not
starting the engine) You will see dashes (instead of numbers) on your
odometer disappearing one at a time. it will be replaced by 0's
(zeros).. Release the Odo/trip button and your original mileage will
come up.... And your done..... until the next oil change.
No, your brakes should have a stiff pedal regardless of anything going wrong electrically in the car. You better look for brake fluid leaking out. Try not to let the reservoir run dry while you're looking for the leak, as that will introduce more air into the lines. Let us know what you find and if we can help any further.
It's likely the tires. The Bridgestone Turanza OEM tires were specially designed to reduce road noise, which can be an issue. If you're running a different brand of tire, then that may be the cause. Also, if one of the rear tires has an issue (e.g. uneven wear), that may also be the cause. Possible causes of uneven wear include worn rear struts, infrequent rotation, bent wheel, or wheel/tire out of balance. Wheels/tires need to be rebalanced occasionally - at least every 20k miles.
put battery on charge for a at least a day if not two before you start interfering with with anything.Sounds like a flat battery or battery not holding enough reserve amperage power.
