hi, the only place you can get this code from is the main dealers you use to be able to get them over the phone but they no longer do this as thieves were knicking the stereos then ringing up and getting the unlock code and then selling them on, so all car dealers now will only give the code out if you take the car to them and the owners documents and some id they wont charge for giving you this code but make sure you write it down for future reference.
Im sorry their is no easy fix for this problem but its going to be a case of taking the car to the main dealers and asking them for the code this will then solve your problem.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
The only way to get this code is to either have it in the owners manual or go to the dealer. The dealer has to get online using the factory scan tool and put in the VIN and radio serial number to generate a radio code via the Audi Server.
try another dealer. maybe try to get ahold of one of the techs at lunch time. this info should be free to the car owner, just be ready to supply the title to the car for some proof. maybe try buying the parts guys lunch or coffee and donuts....this usually works for this type of problem. unfortunaley this info really is dealer only..
Your best bet is to call a dealer. There's no reason why the service department can't give you this information for free. Make sure you write it down ( I tend to email myself these things) and keep it in the car. If you have the manual, write in there as well. You'll need it for how to enter the code.
The serial number of the radio would be on a sticker ontop of the radio itself. Youll have to pull it out of the dash to get it. Post back with it for further help.
hold rbds and pscan till you see numbers then use the radio memory buttons to control the number you want to put in after the numbers are put in hold rbds pscan again till u see it says safe and radio works.
I just posted a solution for this problem. It comes straight from the radio manual. The dealer should have told you this. If you want him to do it he'll charge money for his time. IF YOU LOST YOUR CODE. THE DEALER CAN HELP YOU OR IF YOU HAVE YOUR 4 DIGIT CODE:
