My daughter has a 2006 Honda Civic. When she tries to wash the windshield, we can hear the pump working, but no fluid comes out. All the fuses are ok, and there is no fluid on the ground at all. Her boyfriend blew air through the hoses, but that didn't work. Any thoughts???

Replace washer pump. They have impellers that wear out. You may hear it running but with little or no impeller it can push fluid up the hoses. Sometimes, the impellers break at the shaft, where motor spins and impeller doesn't move. It's pretty common in alot of cars.

The impeller could be broke on the pump itself.
the jets blocked with car polish etc
a kinked pipe.
try them ;)

My windshield washer is not working correctly.

Assuming you have washer fluid and you can hear the pump with no flow at the main line I would guess the turbine has separated from the pump shaft.

Location of the fuse box in my 2006 sportage My windshield washer fluid wont spray front or back and wanted to see if it was a fuse

If it is the fuse, the wipers will not work either. Check your reservoir is full and listen to hear if you can hear the pump running. If not, it could be the pump that is inopeative, the connector plug that has come undone, the inlet to the pump is blocked or the outlet is kinked.

Windshield washers not pumping water to windshield

The most common problem I find in this season, is having summer 32 deg. F freezing windshield wiper fluid in the tank rather than -20 deg. F freezing windshield wiper fluid.

Try to warm up the car by parking it in a heated garage until the windshield wiper fluid thaws. Then, try to use it all up, and add the 'winter' vs. the 'summer' formula of windshield wiper fluid.

If this does not solve the problem, the pump might be burnt out, in my experience.

You should hear a humming sound as you depress the button for windshield wiper fluid inside of the car.

Good luck on this repair.

Windshield washer pump fpr a 2006 chevy impala is there a fuse that could be bad ?

Yes, you could check for a fuse burnt out, but generally if the windshield washer pump doesn't buzz or turn so you can hear it, it means that in this weather, it is frozen up or burnt out. Usually it's just frozen with summer formulatioin of windshield wiper fluid which freezes at 32 deg. F.

Try to warm up the car in a heated garage to see if the windshield wiper fluid becomes unfrozen.

And, try to flush out the old fluid when you get it the pump free of ice, and install -20 deg. F or better wiper fluid.

Good luck on this repair.
