When was last healthy tune up? You didn't mention mileage.... for starters, I would run a good fuel system cleaner through it & change fuel filter. Benz fuel systems & injectors are extremely finicky and don't particularly work well with cheap fuels and certain brands. (see it all the time) Try the above 1st and make sure you use a brand name & good grade fuel.

Mercedes Benz Cranks over but will not start

I start with a question. Is your vehicle petrol or diesel? If is a diesel engine and you do have a cold start difficulties,be first check: a) your battery to be strong in power to manage a quick crank start. b) check your glow plugs whether are all working.( Even one glow plug does not work the engine can not start ).c) also check the Heat fuel system which normally is under the vehicle and close to the fuel tank( follow the fuel feeding lines to locate), d) also check whether the fuel pump ( electric ) located in the fuel tank is working. Always use a Diesel additive for Non-Frost. If is a Petrol engine again check to have a strong battery, also check whether the fuel pump in the tank is working. Also check whether you do have a clogged fuel filter.

When the MAF on most vehicles reach a point of preventing the engine from starting, you can usually just unplug it and the engine will start. If that doesn't work-
You may want to try having the O2 sensor, ( Oxygen sensor ), checked. It works with other components of the emission system and can cause similar symptoms as the MAF, including preventing the engine from starting.

Hard starting every morning

really need a little more info. but at first thought sounds like either a cold start sensor if equipped. or a coolant temperature sensor. the cold start sensor squirts fuel directly into the intake upon startup wen the vehicle is cold. the coolant temperature sensor adjust fuel air mixtures based on the temp. of the vehicle. when they go bad they go to default which is usually about 175 degrees. so when the car is cold and the faulty sensor tell the computer that the car is 175 degrees when its not then the computer delivers the wrong fuel air mixture, the mixture as needed when its warm when the car is actually cold and needs a different mixture in order to start more easily.

Before you do start spending more money on things might not need to, My personal advise, just get the vehicle for emission test to confirm whether the catalytic converter is okay or not.If you do need any further advise after that please do not hesitate to send your email.

Intermitant starting problem

Typical symptom of ignition module failing. Gel overheats and causes failure which does not exist upon cold startups and vehicle will restart when cooled off.
