Need code to reset radio
The Mercedes dealership will give you the code and reset your radio as a courtesy.
I have a ML320 1998, the problem started when I installed an alarm,, one I start my car and shift gear, some time it hits hard and will lock on the 1st gear, I stop, and again I try to shift to drive, some times it shifts normally sometimes not, if shifting is normal, once I stop and want to move again it locks on 1st..please help

The main dealer will supply the code usually for a small charge.
Have a look on line first though because some are offered freely .
You will need the model year and chassis number.

leave the radio on for a few days, with the wait displaying, it will display CODE after a few days, 2 - 3 days, then enter the correct code , everytime u enter a wrong code the time increases.

Regretfully due to reasons of theft or piracy we do not pass the radio codes here at FixYa. If you contact your local Mercedes-Benz dealer they will give you the 5 digit code. (You must have your registration and know the complete serial number of the radio)
