Remove front door handle bezel screw cover Remove inside handle bezel screw Remove inside handle bezel Lift upward on the rear of the front door inside handle bezel Disconnect electrical connector Remove handle screw cover
Remove handle screw Remove door trim panel upper screw Remove door trim panel lower screw Remove door trim panel (pull the door trim panel outward to release the pin-type retainers)Remove front door sail panel
Disconnect mirror electrical connector Remove 3 exterior mirror nuts and exterior mirror

no need to remove the door.. just open the screws of the inside concole , opening handle and lever .. take out the console and u will see the screws to open the mirror.

Muth makes the signal mirrors for repalcing the glass in the mirror head. On the site, they have nice instructions you can use for removing the door panel, and getting the mirror off ( obviously stop at the removing the glass part, and just replace with the mirror head you already have ).

3 10mm nuts located behind the interior door panel (directly behind the mirror assembly) attach the mirror to the door. Also there you will find the point of attachment for the power as well.

you can epoxy it back together if it did not shatter otherwise buy a used one from your local junk yard it's simple to replce and has only three screws holding the mount on, you can also buy paint from the dealer to get it to match the rest of your car.

Remove Rover 45 driver door trim to replce wing mirror.

what you need to do here is pull out door trim from bottom & then give it a good bang at bottom it should slide out of top guide but you need to give it a good bang asthey are quite tight in there.

the door panel near the mirror must be removed if not the entire door panel inside u will find 3 nuts to remove to get the old mirror off. hope this helps please rate me

not so difficult , there should be a piece of trim straight in from mirror on inside of door, remove trim behind should be nuts holding mirror on.

Try partstrain.com they sell aftermarket replacement parts, mirrors look like origionals but alot cheaper
