Hi,
Have a problem with my Mercedes Benz 2603 1988 model...Experiencing strong engine shaking and rough engine sound whenever stepping on the axhililiration pedal....Checked other stuff that might contribute to the problem, such as oil level and fan belt, but the same is quite fine and in normal level.
Hope you can advise me on this problem.

If it has not set a check engine light it likely is not a misfire, these models wear out the engine and trans mounts by about 80,000 miles. if it is misfire you will need to read the fault codes and go from there.
There are several reasons why the vehicle could be rough idling. If no check engine light is on and the vehicle feels like it's idling rough when you put it into gear. The transmission mount may be worn out which cause the vehicle to feel like it has a rough idle. Definitely at minimum you will feel the vibration when sitting in the vehicle.
