How do you replace the fuel pump in a 99 ford e250 van

Fuel pump is located inside fuel tank and also a module and gauge level.

Fuel pump issue... no, it seems to be your immobiliser. They are programed to turn off the fuel pump in order to stop thiefs stealing cars. The immobilizer unit is on the fritz and may need to be replaced. I would change it to the company "Black Widow". they make good stuff and all wiring is black so it is harder for thieves to steal your car.

i would check the fuel pressure regulator.

So , does it have fuel pressure? have you checked the Inertia Switch? You dont replace spark plugs or filter because all of a sudden it wont start.

on the inside of the frame rail just below the drivers seat under the van

check the bulb in the switch

It's behind right hand front cowl panel.

the switch is located under passenger side foot trim panel under glove box. open passenger side door and remove the plastic cover .

look on the floor for an inspection cover over the fuel sender unit
