I blew a head gasket. Is this covered under the 10 year/100,000 miles warranty? If not, how much does this usually take to repair?

it should be covered by your warranty but if its not dont be surprised if you pay 1000 or more

Yes, time to do these things.
FYI - you can purchase a complete kit for Water pump replacement which includes the timing belt, tensioner, gaskets, etc. You can't get to the water pump without first removing these items anyway, so do it before the pump fails or worse, the timing belt breaks and grenades your interference fit engine.

Plugs are a piece of cake and it's time for those as well.
Replace coolant, and while you're at it, the thermostat.

I hope this helps.

Hi, have Ford or Lincoln or Jaguar technician check C.O.P (Coils on Plugs). Now the 2003, 2004 and 2005 models have extended factory coverage to 10 years / 100,000 miles. Information is covered in a Customer satisfaction Program -07M07 from July 2007 that covered the 2003 year. A updae to this Program 07M07, Supplement #1 dated May, 2008 extended the coverage to include the 2004 and 2005 models. The 2003 coverage is for coils and gaskets.

If it was P0420 it is most likely a failing converter. It is better to let a mechanic tackle this unless you are good with a torch to replace the converter.just remember that your cat. converter has a 80,000 mile warrenty with GM so you may be able to get it replaced for free.
