Fuel pump is in the tank , the tank will need to be taken out , then take the sending unit out of the tank and the pump will be attached to this replace the pump and reverse steps ,it best to get most of the fuel out of the tank before you drop it down.

Pump needs to be checked for pressure and VOLUME of flow. It may move fuel but not enough of it.

2001 Chevy Silverado Z71 fuel pump continues to run when key is turned off.

check wires to pump,may be grounded;if not the pump is bad. quite sure its wiring

I have a 93 z71 chevy ..when i turn on the truck i have to give it gas if not it will turn off ..also once i put it on drive it wont pick up speed it kind of backfires ...wat could be the issue

i have a 1997 chevy Z71 and it will not start. all my fuses are working and so is my fuel pump. When i turn the key on none of my guage lights come on and when i crank it all it does is keep turning over, never starting

Just changed the fuel pump in 99 Chevy Ex PU Z71. Ran great, then would start later in the day. Replaced battery and battery cables and still won't start. Any suggestions?

check then crank positon sensor, it control the fuel system. it tell the engine computer when to send fuel

5.7 is 60-66 PSI OR (4.2 kg/4.6 cm2) . 5.3 is 55-62 PSI (4.0kg/4.4cm2)

Should be under the passenger side dashboard to the front of the door's lower hinge.
