Most likely cause would be disc brake pads grinding against brake rotor.

If your hearing a grinding I would take a look at your brakes and rotors especially on the driver side.That grinding sound could be that your brakes are wore so bad that the pads are digging into the rotor.

Sounds like you are leaking brake fluid. The grinding sound may be from the brake pad not disengaing from the rotor because of low brake fluid pressure. Have this checked immediatley you may loose all brake function!!
