Coolant is leaking from passanger side on my 98 monte carlo. I can't see exactly where it is coming from though. It doesnt appear to be leaking from the water pump. It seems to be coming from behind all the pullys somewhere. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it the timing cover gasket or is it a head or intake gasket?

The best way to do this is a pressure test and see where the leak is coming from it can be from the intake gasket, its going to be a guessing game unless you do the pressure test

If I'm not mistaken, your heater hoses run near where you describe, check you heater hoses.

Have several problems abs light on traction control light, low coolant light on, seat belt light on ,driver side heated seats stopped working and fuel gauge doesnt work always reads full

My 2003 Monte Carlo and my husbands 2003 chevy pickup both had the ABS and traction control lights on. When it began it only came on once in a while but got worse until the lights were on all the time. After several attempts to find the problem we purchased a ABS Brack Scan. Part #CP9449. Although it doesn't pinpoint the exact problem it does tell you what wheel has the issue and possible problems. My problem was a bad wire in the harness. Good luck!

Most likely a bad seal on the water pump. They will shrink up when it gets real cold out and leak. Look for a white line on the bottom side of the hood as it usually is the only indicator when that happens. The water pump is prety easy to replace too. good luck

Overheatin loosin water and steamin from the back of motor around the intake

You need to have the intake manifold gaskets replaced This will also allow the temp sensor to tell the computer that it has warmed up. Then you can accellerate properly. Good luck Moe
