When I turn the key in my '02 Camry v6, nothing happens. All I hear is a clicking sound coming from the relay switch box. I placed my hands on the solenoid above the starter and there is no vibration. Any idea what may be going on?

I had starter rebuilt and car still won't start. I hear only a click when I turn the key. Any ideas?

my car wouldnt start after i turned it off and went to the store all i was hearing was a humming when i turned the key i had the car towed home i went out later and it started up?!?!?!?...

Could be a bad coil. Just need to have the coil replaced.

Check the battery. It may not be charged enough to turn the starter.

If you can hear a relay clicking, then your starter relay should be OK. Try tapping the starter solenoid (on the starter) with a hammer while someone cranks the ignition over. Sometimes it'll get jammed or stuck and won't start the car. Try that out - if it works, then you may need to overhaul or replace your starter.

Where is the turn signal relay on a 1998 toyota camry

It will either be inder the dash or under the hood. Best way to find it is, with the car engine off, turn the key to the on position (don't start the car) and then switch on the indicator. If you listen carefully you will hear the relay clicking. Follow the sound and you will find the relay. If you can put your hand on it you will feel it clicking. Bazinga.

95 Camry Electric Door Locks Won't Work

It could still be the relay, if the solenoid is working but the contacts are faulty. There are also several other places in the circuit which could cause this. Follow the diagnostics from p90 on, here

There are several relays located in that area...it doesn't matter because the relays are probably not the cause of tyour vehicle not starting. If they are clicking, it can only be because they are working - or at least, TRYING to work.
It sounds to me like you need to check the condition of your battery and battery cable connections.

My dodge ram 1500 will not start. when you turn the ignition nothing happens. all the panel lights come but none of the guage hands move . could it be the ignition switch?

yes, or the relay. Look in relay box under hood. Ignition relay should click when key is turned on. If not, replace relay. Much cheaper than a switch. May still be the switch, but relay is worth a try.

My air only comes out of the winshield. i can hear a clicking noise when i switch from defrost to face as if its trying to switch but gets stuck. any suggestions?. its a 1994 camry wagon v6

sounds like a bad gear or a stuck flap
buy a chilton book and look up the heater box look fro any sticking parts

Try another starter and also try turning the crank bolt with a ratchet and socket to make sure that the crank isn't frozen in place. Do not leave the keys in the car when doing so. You don't want anyone messing around in the truck when trying that!
