Please replace your wheel bearings before you drive it anymore. It could possibly cause the wheel to come off and go into your wheel well. Your wheel bearings are bad..Depending on how much you drove it after hearing it, you may need a new spindle also.

How can i tell if the ball joints are bad on a

you have to jack up the lower control arm out by the wheel then using a bar pry up on the wheel there should be very little if any play then grab the top and bottom of the wheel and try to move the wheel back and forth there should be no movement at all. the up and down movement is measured in thousands of an inch.

My 04 avalanche makes a clinking noise In front underneath when I hit a bump?

dose it speed up and down when you drivings, it could be you have caught the splash guard onto the brake disc and its catching, if its the wheel baring you need to jack up the side with the wheel still on and turn wheel round check for the sound if now sound, grab wheel at 9 to 3 and shack the wheel feeling for movement should be just a tiny bit with no sound. then do the same at 12 and six if there is a lot of movement the bearing will need replacing same if it makes a clunking sound.

I hear a loud grinding noise when i drive my car

Check front tyres & wheel bearings espesially the R/H/F. Feel tyre for high / low spots on inside & jack up & spin wheel if you get noise while jacked up it is not the tyres but wheel bearing or brake pads but more than likly a crook bearing by the sound of it. It needs to be tended to ASAP

The right front tire make a whining sound and when the steering wheel is turned to the left it gets louder.

Sounds like you have a bad wheel bearing. Sometimes you can jack up the wheel, in your case the right front) and with one hand spin the wheel while holding onto the front strut spring with the other. If you can feel the noise (sounds wierd but you can feel the noise) than the bearing is bad. It helps if the transmission is in neutral (make sure you secure the vehicle from moving while its in neutral)

Steering shacks replaced steering damper still shacks

shakes?or shacks?Let's just say that you mean shake. If your brake pedal pulsates, replace the rotors. If your steering wheel shakes(low speed)broken belt in front tire.Jack up one tire enough to clear the ground, spin it.Spins nice, lower and jack up the other.Spin that one,if the belt is broke it'll be very noticable. While up in the air check the lug nuts,if they're loose it can make the steering shake too.If the shake is at highway speed, bad shocks or tie rods or ball joints or a combination of these.Jack up a front tire and try to move it(Key turned off to lock steering). If it moves top to bottom, ball joint.Side to side, tie rod.Doesn't move, shocks. The worst could be a bad hub bearing, but you'd hear it and you said nothing about any noise.

Hi it needs a hub bearing sounds like the left one
jack up the left side so the left wheel is off the ground and start the vehicle and spin the wheel up to about 30 mph and you should hear the same noise and if not jack up the right side and do the same
