Check that hoses have not come off or are being pinched when closing your hood

if living in below freezing temp. make sure using all season fluid, check for clog via sediment also in hose or in the outlet/port itself.

SOURCE: WATER FOR FRONT WIND SHIELD NOT WORKING

if the water pump is not maknig any noise then it is likely to be either jammed with sediment, rusted, burnt out or simply a connection problem

this pumps are not usually bolted in, they are a usually a push fit
i would remove the plastic tube, connecting wires and remove the pump
check it, clean it out and lubricate it with WD40 or similar
wait awhile for the WD40 to penatrate

then test it by using 2 pieces of wire and connecting straight to the car battery terminals
if it works like this then
check and clean the pump connector terminals - if you have a multimeter check for 12 volts (have someone operate the screen wash stalk, if you dont have a multimeter you could use 2 wires and a car bulb (stop lamp, sidelight or indicator bulb)

failing this just reconnect the pump if it works - great
if not the the problem is electrical

SOURCE: 1999 vw beetle. blinkers, wind shield wipers not working.

check the electrical part of your ignition switch . this is common to burn out and is easy and inexpensive to fix .does not require anything to be done to the mechanical part of the switch and key.

SOURCE: cannot get the wind shield wiper motor back in the

this is normally caused by a bad wiper motor or binding of the wiper gears and linkage arms.
check to see if the linkage arms are tight and not loose. also try and lube up the pivot points.
another thing to check is to make sure you have 12 volts to the heater.

Water on the driver side of a 2016 2500 dodge ram truck. I had my dodge dealer check it. They check the top lights the seals around the doors.

Look at your air conditioner vent coming of the evaporator. Open hood and should be a 1/4 inch hose right by firewall on drivers side. They rarely leak, but sometimes fall off and normally discharge to ground. Be careful and depending where you live you can turn ac on and just wait to make sure its draining on the ground. Turn truck off and look for loose hose. Please be careful as there's lots of places you can cut yourself. I don't think it's the door gasket if you had a pro do it.

Water leaks in through screws holding visor on drivers side

Have a look at the outside of the front wind shield at the top drivers side for any rust or seal failure between the wind shield and metal

Wind shield washing fluid, what is it made of?

washer fluid is simply clean fresh water with a grime busting additive added by you when refilling the bottle. Fill the bottle with clean fresh water and add the detergent in the proportion as on the bottle.( windscreen cleaner --not washing up detergent---too corrosive on the metal and paint work)

Car heater blows cold

-Yes. There is a control valve. Most car it's locate between the engine and the wind shield. (On the wall)
-When you slide to hot or cold. there is a cable connect to the valve. It Push and pull to close and open.
Ask some one to help you slide back and forward and you can watch or look for. You should see it move.
-If it still work good. That mean the heater hoses are clogged. If it's clogged, you can use garden water hose to flush the line from both directions. You should be good to go Winter.

Good Luck

Wind shield wiper fluid does not come out of the driver's side wiper but the passenger side works fine. How do I get the driver's side to work?

follow the rubber tubing from the passenger side, from where the fluid exits back towards the resivor and u will find a tee fitting where the tubing splits from pasenger to driver side. take it apart and blow compressed air thru it.

Wind shield wipers not working

The wind shield wipers not working could mean either the wiper motor is faulty or the fuse, relay or switch in the steering column is faulty.

You will need an auto electrician to have a look.
