There is a tool under the carpet in the back. It is a long metal rod that you insert into a square hole near the license plate. You rotate the rod and this unlocks the tire.

What would it mean to have a vibration thats almost like im gonna say a flat place on a tire

You have a warp in one of the steel belts inside your tire. Sorry but there is no fix for this except replacement. It is strongly advised that you replace "both" front or rear tires as a pair for they have been in service the same amount of time and will surly do the same thing down the road a bit. Thank you, Dana P.S. It is to your best advantage to change these tires asap for this can progress to a very dangerous situation very quickly.

2002 Honda Accord - changing tire

ex: front tire= right behind tire there is a lip of metal that sticks down and there is about a 3 to 4 inch part right behind the wheel that has been reinforced. Put your jack right there so the grove on the jack sits in it nicely. Before you jack up the car loosen the lug nuts a bit then lift the car and finish the job.

Trying to get the spare tire off of my pick up truck

Hello, when you go to let it down can you turn the rod that you are useing to let the tire down? If not then the cable or gear box is rusted solid. That is what usually happens because of the location and lack of use. If it doesn't turn you will have to cut the cable or cradle that holds the tire up. If the rod does turn your spare tire carrier might have a safety catch. The catch can usually be released by putting a jack under the spare tire rim and raising it up. While your doing that turn the rod to crank up the tire. That should release the saftey catch and allow the tire to be lowered down.

Tire pressure light remains on.

We took it back to the dealer. They made the necessary adjustments needed after the winter tires +rims were put on.

Flat tire

if you want the cheap route do it yourself. the tools should be in the back of the car under the carpet. or if you dont want the hassle of changing to the spare just buy or borrow an air canister and take it to your nearest tire shop
