I would suspect a stuck cooling fan relay. Your going to have to locate the malfunction to get the operation that you seek. Reference owners manual for lcoation of the cooling fan relay and try switching it out.
It could be the thermostatic fan control, or it could be that the dash controls are turned to the air conditioner, or defroster position. The fan will stay on as long as the controls are in the A/C or defroster position.
Air conditioner does not have a fan. There is a manually controlled blower motor inside the cabin, common for both heat and AC but I suspect you are talking about a fan under the hood (?) which would be the cooling fan for the radiator. It has a temperature sensor that is supposed to turn it on when engine coolant is too hot. That could be either with engine running or not, so don't stick your hands in there even if the engine is off. If my assumption re: fan location is correct, check wiring to the coolant sensor and if okay, then replace the sensor.
