SOURCE: 2000 grand caravan sliding door won;t open

I would start by pulling the door panel off the inside. This will give you a look at the lock and handle mechanism to see what is amiss. Suspect a broken, fallen link that may now be lying in the bottom door channel and retrievable with magnetic pick-up tool. Get a good trim removal tool since a panel that large is easy to mar if you try pulling it with a screwdriver. Have a helper assist with the job and start by pulling the rear and middle seats if you can. To cheat on this, you may want to pull the panel on the opposite door to see how everything is supposed to look.

SOURCE: Door will close but latch will not lock

I have this problem as well. The latch is getting stuck. I haven't been able to fix it permanently but you can get it to latch if you hit the door by the handle. It will release the latch and allow it to latch when you close the door.

Honda Odyssey 2018 sliding doors are not works

I'd recommend starting by turning the power door function off and trying to operate the door manually. If it is difficult to slide, lift up on the door while trying to move it; if it then becomes easier to move, chances are that the center roller has failed. The center roller bears all of the weight of a sliding door as it moves through the center track located below the rear side window glass. There are also an upper and lower roller, but they don't bear as much weight as the center roller and act more like guides. The lower roller area does tend to catch debris, usually from kids (crayons, cereal, etc), so it would be good to clean that out before settling on the center roller as the issue. How do I change cabin air filter in 2006 m35? video or pics?

First, you need to remove the glove box: Open the glove box. There are three hinge points at the bottom of the box (left, center and right). There are "tabs" on the box that slide into these "holders". Gently pull up and out on the left side of the glove box. The tab should pop out. Repeat for the center point. This should allow the left side stop pin to clear the dash slot. Repeat for the right side. You should now be able to turn the box, pull it from the dash and let it hang from the retaining cord on the right side. Note the hinge slots and tabs for reference for re-installation later. Second, remove the black access door behind the glove box: This is an "L" shaped cover with three hinge points at the bottom and three tabs at the top. Gently push back on the tabs at the top to un-lock, rotate down on the hinge points and pull out. Behind this you will see a white plastic door which covers and holds the filter in place. Third, remove white access door as follows or you will break the retaining tabs off! On the right side is a locking tab, gently press in and pull the right side of the tab toward you to unlock the tab BUT STOP AS SOON AS THE TAB UNLOCKS THE DOOR AND OPENS ABOUT ½ " or the tabs on the left side will break off, they are not hinged! Next, slide the door to the right to clear the tabs on the left side and remove. Note the position and orientation of the filter inside. Remove the old filter. Fourth, install the new filter: Make sure the orientation and air flow direction are as marked and match previous filter. Mine was pointing "up", with the rigid side plate facing out. The new filter will be sitting on top of the fan, when the white door is re-installed, it has "fingers" that lift the filter into the proper location, but you may find it easier to lift the filter up with one hand and slide the door back into position with the other hand. That said, lift the filter, slide the tabs on the left side of the door back into there slots. Push the door back into original position and latch the right side locking tab. Make sure the door is sealed and back to original position and latch tab on the right is locked. Now, reverse the previous steps to complete the task. Re-install the black access door cover. Lift up the glove box and turn to install right side stop pin into dash slot position, rotate left side into position and center box in dash opening. You will have to move the box up/down, in/out a bit to "feel" the hinge tabs properly engage the hinge slots. Once the tabs are in the slots you can push down on each side and it will pop back in place. (If you have difficulty, you may want to remove the under dash cover below the glove box. There are three tabs in the front that slide into three slots and one tab and slot in the rear. This can be removed by pulling down on the front of the panel at each side and the middle, then slide it forward out of the rear slot. Disconnect the light if required by pushing the latch on the plug and pulling it off. Feel around the hinge locations to guide the parts together).

AC/Heater control valve :Lancer 2003 Misubishi

The sliding switch on the console is stuck in the cold position and the knob is pulled off. Use pliers to jiggle the switch as best you can. Feel under the center console and you probably will find the cable that is hooked up to the flapper. You'll know because when you jiggle the cold/heater switch at the upper console, the cable will move slightly. At the hookup of the cable to the flapper down under the console (passenger side) try to work the flapper loose to the open (or close) position. At the same time work the sliding switch (with pliers). The flapper will come loose and function properly. Try not to knock of the AC button like I did in the process. It flew off some where under the passenger seat. I'll find it sometime before summer. Ha.

1998 corvette, center console power outlet has come apart, how do you get to the underside of the console?

Open the hatch/door on the center console, pry up that plastic piece just forward of the door with a small screwdriver working from the rear, remove those 2 nuts in the recess, unscrew the door if you wish for easier handling, at the rear of the console opening there are 2 small plastic covers, pop those out and remove the 2 nuts under them, lift the rear of the console and slide it back just enough to unplug the fuel door opening button( there isn't much slack in the wiring for this button so don't pull the console back too far ). I suspect you only needed step one, but this will get the console out for easier access to the power outlet.

Sliding door fails to latch

There is no "switch". The Sliding Doors should be manual anytime you try to open or close them. If not: then there is problem in the electronic system or the physical/mechanical side where something is jamming the door from opening or closing.

Door will close but latch will not lock

Try and check the latch in the door sometimes they catch and don't open all the way it may take a screwdriver to pry it up or it could be a clip has broke inside the door on the trip mechenizm and won't let it hit the spring tension to lock it shut.
