Go to the dealership with your photo ID, registration, and title to the car. Using that information, you can prove who you are, and that you are the owner of the car, and they can use the VIN number of the car (on the title and registration) to look up the key code for your car. Then they can cut you a new one using a master key for that key code.

Best thing to do is to Google "service manual for 2000 daewoo leganza"( should be able to find a free one in pdf). The info you need will be in there. I change starter on my 2001 leganza using the service manual. Hope this helps.

Where can I get a key made for the 2000 Daewoo Leganza

Good news, bad news....do you have remote entry? If so, lotsa luck. If not, Daewoo had 3 different key blanks for Leganza in 2000. I got mine from Handyman Hardware in Florissant Missouri. ( nice folks, very helpful)They have to special order the blank, it took a week. I had two extras made just in case.

I have a 2002 daewoo leganza the button on the shifter won't push in , I have to use my spare key in the key unlock slot push it in and then the button pushes in, and I don't have back up lights.

sounds like a bad ground the honda delsol had the same prob

as daewoo was built using general motors bits,you should be able to get a key from a gm dealer with the chassis #....

Best thing to do is to call the dealership and tell them you lost it, they will ask some basic questions then usually they are able to give it to you just not 100% sure if they charge for it some dealer do and some don;t have to call and find out

I have a 2000 Daewoo Leganza and radio wont work

the code is normally on a little sticker inside the service book, if lost,maybe the selling dealer will keep a copy(highly unlikeley) it is not on the unit.
if lost then the only solution is get a radio specialist to unlock the unit.

How do you replace a clyinder head in a daewoo leganza.

this is a major job and will need a exp. mechanic in daewoo.also the tools you will need ,torque wrench,degree wheel etc..wish you the best.

Wont start and then lost key

big problem ,give dealer copy of papers which show your name on them,your idenity card to prove who you are and they will order a new key (get two) then they have to be programmed into the car
