Vam stalling I need help! I have a 1999 Ford windstar. I started it up the other day and it stalled. I turned it back on it was fine. I drive off and then when I get 1/2 mile down the road at the red light it stalls again. So I started it back up and it was fine. I get driving and slow down it stalls again. It turns over fine. I was driving on the highway about 60 mph and the car starts to gallop so I slowed down. It seemed as I pressed on the gas it galloped again but not when I lightened up on the gas. Any suggestions?

To me that sounds like a charging issue. With the other items replaced, check and make sure a wire for the alternator didn't get misplaced and if that all looks good you may want to have the alternator tested. Could be something as simple as a wire getting swung into another area while you turn and shorting out, but since it needs to be jumped after it occurs to me that sounds like a charging issue.
why did you only replace the plug.you don`t say.it could be a fuel problem,some of these had problems with the coil packs and or the wiring to the coil packs not working as intended.check these out.
The problem with your van is the CAM Sensor, I believe the noise you are hearing is kind of a chirping sound. I just had mine fixed (12/19/09) it was about $150 for parts and labor from a local Mech. not a dealer.
have your idle speed sensor cleaned,also checkd the air flow sensor located in the air cleaner housing,you best bet is to have it scanned for PCM soft codes(codes that wont turn on the check engine light on)
