How do i bleed out my transmission? i have a 2000 nissan maxima se manual transmission . I am having a real difficult time trying to bleed it out. is there another way to do it

Are you trying to bleed the clutch? if so ther bleeder valve is on the slave cylinder bolted to the bell housing on the tranny.

I presume your talking about bleeding your clutch pedal
step by step
fill clutch master cylinder .get another person to pump clutch pedal few times ,and hold it down
As it is held down open bleed nipple on master cylinder first make sure your getting fluid from there .pump again a few times and bleed from slave cylinder at gear box ,making sure the reservoir does not empty ,keep topping it up
it can take time keep at it it will eventualy bleed .if all seals are good goodluck

i will assume that you are referring to the clutch master cylinder , you bleed the system at the clutch slave cylinder located on the transmission bellhousing

I cant locate the transmission dipstick on my 2000 Maxima SE

Unless you are having trouble with the transmission, it is not generally required to check the gear oil level in a manual transmission until at least 100,000 miles. However, if you feel keen about, look at the trasmission and locate a plug on the side, part way up. Remove the plug, and stick your finger into the hole. The oil should be right at the bottom of the hole.
