MAZDA 626 ENGINE RANDOM PAUSING/STALLING

The cooling system?? That would be my last guess, right after the spare tire. Sounds like an electrical issue. Quite often remote starters, especially those not installed at the factory, can cause these problems. Is there a "check engine" code?

1995 BENZ S500 STARTS THEN STALLS

If the vehicles check engine light is on when it stalls, have it scanned to find problem code. auto-zone will scan for free as long as check engine light is on. but it sounds like a bad crank sensor, because it will shut down engine and not start till it cools down. it controls the fuel to injectors and engine timing. get it scanned !

98 honda runs fine then turns off while running on freeway then will crank but not start for about 30 mins changed ignition switch plugs an wires help plz

it may take some talking back and forth but i can help you fix this. does it seem like the engine stalls once its good and warmed up and wont start till its cooled down a bit? this is very common and its ussually caused by the coolant temp sender (not the one for the dash the one that runs you fuel and emissions) more or less it goes out and you car doesnt know its warmed up so it floods the motor out after a few miles because more or less the choke is stuck "on" . once the motor cools down it will typically start right back and and then repeat the symptom. ive seen other issues cause this but the coolant temp sender is very common and also a cheap fix ( just did one on a buick and the part cost 14 bucks and it took me about 15 minutes to replace). is the check engine or service engine soon light on or does it come on then go off?

Yes i was driving for about five mins on the freeway and i noticed water coming out of the bonnet when the radiator blew, but i didnt know it blew because i didnt hear nothing,i looked at my temp gauge and...

  • First try to checked the water pump. Make sure that the water is regulating inside the radiator.
  • Make sure also that the hose are all in good shape and the radiator fan also working.
Feel free to reply to this solution if you have questions. Thank you.

My 1992 lexus es 300 overheats after i get off the freeway. the temp gauge sits in the normal position until i get off the freeway. i run the heat on hot and at full blast regardless of the temp outside...

Sounds like you could be low on coolant, even more so because the air starts to cool down, check coolant level with engine cold, never open a radiator when hot.

Dodge ram 1500 engine rpms surge at freeway speed

those sensors could cause the issue, clean the MAF 1st, also clean the idle system using the following procedure, the IAC can cause cruise surge. I use this to cure these problems all the time.

Here is the most common cause of surges and stalls and low idle, it is the idle speed control air-bypass valve (IAC) and throttle valve, they get full of gunk over the miles and cause idle issues (stalls, low idle) like yours, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.

Car wont start after stalling on freeway

Check alternator voltage @ battery while car is @ idle, it should be charging @ 40 amps. Sounds like a voltage issue. I would start there.
