I have a 94' jaguar xj6 auto, a warning light in orange shaped like a diamond ring shape with a cross over it has appeared on the left of the dash, what does it indicate? thanks Steve.

You have a Rear Brake or Driving light is Out, Replace the Bulb.. Or check the wiring at the rear, at the lights.

Check the transmission fluid level under the hood. Also, take it to any autozone and they will read the code for u to find out exactly why that warning light is on.

Hi there, Might have good news for you if you have an x on your transmission picture and your bulb picture and if the light goes off with the rest of the other pictures there is nothing wrong with either. In the manual, the bulb and gear box has an x through them and all the other pictures are exactly the same as you see when you turn on your ignition. Again, if all the lights go out after a couple of seconds everything is fine, if there is trouble a picture would stay there, hope you follow this i have had a couple of wines. Cheers

Think you'll find it's one of the following
petrol cap not on properly
petrol flap not shut properly
petrol cap not original as they should have magnets in them
