SOURCE: 1984 pontiac parisienne how to replace ignition

The ignition switch is on top of the steering column. You will have to remove the trim piece under the steering column and then loose the 2 bolts (1/2 inch) that holds the steering column. Watch your shift ind if it starts to move you will have to unhook ( silver or black clip with a small cable attached to it). Make sure you unhook the battery and block the wheels to keep the car from rolling. The switch uses the same bolts and the dimmer switch. Remove old switch and install new switch.

As long as it is the same engine size it will bolt up you just might have to swap over some of your old parts if any are different.

Where is the heater core on a 1985 Pontiac parisienne

Some of them are behind the glove box by the firewall. Not real easy. If you have a good parts store in town they can tell you for sure. It also depends on the engine size where the placement of it is, but it is usually on the inside fire wall to protect it from damage of outside debris.

What would make my 1985 pontiac parisienne stall when i smash on the gas

I had the same problem in my 83. I went threw 3 fuel pumps before I dropped the tank and removed the clogged nylon strainer. It was easier then it sounds. Then I put a generic in line fuel filter to protect the fuel pump. Good luck and hope it helps.

Hi I have a Pontia Parisienne station wagon

Could be a few things from the actual light switch to the wiring to the lights themselves or as simple as your fuse for them. You have to check em all to see which one has failed. Start with the fuse then headlights as those 2 are the easiest.
