Using a slim jim to un lock a door of a ford 2003 windstar

most modern locks require a under window lock release ,they use part of the lower window or a guard to block you from using a slim jim

I'd ask your friendly policeman, or a locksmith.

When you slide the slim Jim in between the glass and the door skin line up your slim Jim so it points towards the door lock button. Gently lift up while watching the door lock button. If you see it wiggle you are on the right track. You may have to bend the slim Jim a little to get it to hook the correct rod. Be patient and you will get it. It take a little practice. I used to repo cars and was pretty good at it. Like I said just keep at it.

The door lock actuator is stuck in the lock position you will need to slim jim it open meaning you will have to lose the door lock actuator on the driver sideor replace the door lock lock actuator

Lots of things inside your door that a slim Jim can destroy. But basically slide it between the window and the rubber seal at the bottom of the glass. The idea is to hook onto the door lock linkage and pull up or push down. I'd really recommend letting a professional do it with modern lockout tools. Very easy to break stuff with that tool.

You will need two plastic wedges and a piece of stiff wire (wire coat hangars work remarkably well) or a slim jim.
Insert the wedges between the metal portion of the driver door and the window to allow easier access for the slim jim/wire.
Slide it to the location of the lock bar. Hook the lock bar and yank to the right. This should actuate the locking lever and unlock the door.

slim-jim is tough on this vehicle

better choice is to wedge the door and use a long rod to unlock the door

if you can prove ownership you could have the dealer cut you a new key but that will cost just as much as a locksmith

aaa should fix it.but if you don't want to go that way .then it may have just came off you wont know four sure until you git into it and see

A typical slim jim wont do the trick for you.

You need special tools to do the trick. Most tow truck drivers have them.
