Chrysler has superseded all transmission fluids to ATF+4. ATF+4 can be found at any auto parts store.

Does my 2006 Suzuki Forenza actually only hold 4 quarts of tansmission fluid or more.

That would be correct for just replacing the filter, but if the tranny is rebuilt it holds much more fluid.

The tansmission will change out the first time but when it get ready to change out the second time it will not like it slips out of gear then when i get off the gas it will kick back in first gear

check propper fluid specs, replace filter inside pan, make sure you have dex 3 or greater compatible fluid, make sure fluid is not burnt, some times when you flush the system, the internal bands have deposits that stick to them allowing them not to slip. when running a flush these deposits can rub off meaning extensive wear on your bands, easy solution, don't bag drive your ****

My Explorer will not change from 1st gear. What should I do first?

Have you checked the tansmission fluid?

Fluid may be low, or the filter may be plugged.

Or worst case your transmission needs rebuilt; this is most likely the case.
